Upstairs loft features panoramic views of mountains and private porch overlooking aspens. Quiet downtown location one block from downtown shopping and restaurants. Pilgrim's Rest is a private guest house attached to a historic home in downtown Lake City, You'll have the run of the entire guest house. Fenced back yard for 4-legged friends or children. We are generally around the house to answer questions and make suggestions for activities in and around Lake City. Just a short walk to downtown shopping, town park and restaurants. Winter in Lake City is a buffet of cold-weather activities: snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, ice climbing, downhill skiing at a small friendly ski area, and skiing at Wolf Creek and Crested Butte, both of which are about 90 minutes away. The days are usually clear and cold and quite pleasant. Come and enjoy. Summer in Lake City offers perfect mountain weather for outdoor recreation including hiking, fishing, boating, mountain biking, ATVing and just exploring our beautiful San Juan mountains. You are short 5 minute walking distance to restaurants, shopping and laundromat. And, a short drive to the western slope's best hiking and biking. We have two friendly dogs who may be in the back yard. They get along with any friendly dog. We donate 3% of the proceeds for your stay to Open Home temporary housing for cancer patients, people fleeing from wildfires, disasters and others who need space on a temporary basis.
