Lovely seaside house at Cullercoats Bay

Our home is very close to beautiful Cullercoats bay, Tynemouth longsands and Whitley Bay beach and town. Cullercoats metro station is only 5 minutes walk away which can take you to Newcastle town centre. We have a lovely sunny patio garden. There are many places to visit, lovely seaside resort with great restaurants. The location is perfect for getting to the wonderful Northumberland countryside where you can visit Bamburgh and Warkworth Castle or go walking in the beautiful Cheviot Hills. We want to emphasise that the sofa bed which is downstairs is not comfortable for two adults or for a young child as they would be alone downstairs. Likewise we can only accommodate up to 3 adults or a couple with 2 children. We have had our bathroom changed to a lovely new shower room PLEASE NOTE: We have our belongings in the house as it is our home and where we live when we don’t have guests. Although we are off the premises during your stay we do need to have access to our home to collect essential mail or check gas/electric metres etc. We will inform you if this occurs as best we can. WE DON’T HAVE A KEY SAFE. We meet you and pass on the keys personally and run through things you need to know. Upstairs: Double bedroom (the other two rooms contain belongings and are locked) there are drawers and part of a wardrobe for guest use. New shower room with dual shower heads one is rain shower. Downstairs: Breakfasting kitchen, lounge, downstairs toilet. Patio doors to the sunny garden that backs West. (Please note that the sofa bed is situated in the downstairs living room) We will be contactable for our guests via mobile phone or email For any questions. Whenever possible we like to be there to welcome our guests. We have found this arrangement works well and makes it less formal. Great coffee shops and restaurants, Cullercoats Bike and Kayak are all only 2 minutes walk from our house where you can hire wet suits kayaks bikes and standing boards. Also just a mile south you have Tynemouth where you can eat at Riley’s Fish Shack, a truly unique experience and the lovely village of Tynemouth itself wher there is a wide choice of places to eat and drink. Whitley Bay to the north has been undergoing major refurbishment to bring it back to it's glory days! It has the iconic newly refurbished Spanish City and St Mary’s lighthouse and lovely beaches. We are also the gateway to the beautiful county of Northumberland with its castles, beautiful beaches and countryside not forgetting the Cheviot Hills. After Northumberland you have Scotland which is only a 2 hour drive from our house or even quicker on British rail There is free unrestricted parking outside of our house. Cullercoats metro station is 5 minutes walk away which takes you into Newcastle city centre and beyond. We are also the gateway to the beautiful county of Northumberland with its castles, beautiful beaches and countryside not forgetting the Cheviot Hills. After Northumberland you have Scotland which is only a 2 hour drive from our house or even quicker on British rail This is our home so we stay with family when we have guests. It is sometime inevitable that we may need to have access while guests are staying. If this occurs we will let you know by message or a phone call.
