Secluded, tranquil and an equally unique pair of log cabins set in 3/4 acre of the main, old workman's flint cottage garden. Direct access to 6,000 acres of the Kings Forest from your doorstep and more beyond. Perfect for up to four guests who want two seperate cabins.... Two seperate fully insulated 29 sq ft cabins sleeping two comfortably in each cabin. One cabin has a double wrought iron bed with pocket sprung mattress and solid base the other cabin on pull down bed with 'silentnight' micropocket sprung mattress; Chill out on the 'Loaf' crushed velvet sofa in one cabin or on oversized leather corner sofa in the other cabin and watch the world go by (well birds and bees anyway) with tea and coffee making facilities toaster and small under counter fridge freezer. Fresh towels, robes and bedlinen, Power shower, hairdryer with heated towel rail in the bathroom and electric log effect fire in both cabins. Share the 1/2 acre of garden and little workout room as your hearts desire.... Have BBQ's together then retreat to seperate cabins for more 'space' as two couples or two friends.... Separate gate for any guests to access their cabins direct from car parking I live onsite sometimes in the cottage so may be available in person should you require any help during your stay or remotely contactible otherwise. Have three very friendly (two rescue) resident dogs and we are in fenced off seperate garden periodically. Location set 1/3 mile into Kings forest off the B1106, 3 miles from Centre Parcs Elveden Inn and Estate shops , walk or bike down the fire tracks to the fishing lakes behind Lackford Lakes and the Anglo Saxon Village, crossing only one road (Guiness Arms on that road for another great pup visit) ...... 7 miles from Bury St Edmunds town centre To maintain and not overburden the amazing tranquility of the area and to keep the cabins in tip top condition I am limiting the number of bookings to a maximum of 110 nights per year across both cabins and no cross bookings so always have the garden and gym exclusively per booking. Little or no public transport due to remote location so car essential. Great for walks and cycling and counting different bird songs and how many deer you see..... Please note too far away from telephone exchange for landline / broadband and mobile phone reception 3g at best..... From time to time I am told the place is hard to find so if you book I would suggest coming in daylight hours wherever possible. I will be adding photo's to the written directions I send ahead of any guests stays to further help guests
