This self catering log cabin, with private river access, consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is en-suite, and boasts a king size bed. The other two bedrooms each have 2 single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery, crockery and braai implements. The lounge has a fireplace for those cold winter nights. Although the entire house is available for guests, there are 4 cupboards which are kept locked and are for private use. Suzanne runs the popular Calabash Bush Pub just up the road from the cabin and will welcome you on arrival and escort you down to the cottage. The cabin borders on a vineyard on the one side and the pristine Witte river on the other. Activities in the area include hiking, wine tasting, zip sliding, bird watching. There are a number of restaurants, bistros & farm stalls in the area. Although the cottage is pet friendly, we do request that you ensure your pets are contained at all times as the property is not fenced. Please consider the environment and the natural habitat of the local fauna. No public transport nearby and poor cell phone reception.
