A cottage in quiet, secluded woods
A 110-year old cottage along with a newer cottage deep in the hills that can host large groups or several families. It has a magical touch that will leave you wondering if you are in a fairy tale. Two beautiful cottages in a quiet location that can hold up to 14 people. Come and stay to enjoy great views of the serene landscape, while still being within reach of civilization. Enjoy the great views from many directions while on the property watching the sun go down and sitting by the warm fire as the air gets cooler in the evening. Experience hiking the many trails, flora and fauna then rest in the warm sauna! The surrounding nature is stunningly beautiful. The cottages show typical Wallachian architecture. They are traditional in style but updated inside with modern amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, Nesspresso machine, claw foot bathtub, high speed wi-fi connection throughout and extending to the nearby outside area. This is a unique retreat for people who want to relax and have a truly enjoyable experience away from the noisiness of life in the city. There are 2 houses, a kitchen, a full bathroom, and large manicured yard of 2/3 hectare around the homes. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms with multiple single beds along the walls in the traditional style. You may take bus to Prostřední Bečva and from there walk for about 30 minutes. When traveling by car you may park up to 2 cars at the closest neighboring house and from there walk uphill 15 minute through the woods. If you are flying: - Krakow, Poland; 2.5 hours drive - Prague; 5 hours drive - Ostrava (Mosnov); 1 hour drive Unlimited access I am rarely ever there. You will be on your own most of the time. My cleaner will be there to receive the guests and show them around the cottages as well as to check the guests out. The guests cannot leave until the manager arrives. Within driving and biking distance are plenty of attractions, such as the wooden town of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. Hiking to Radhost (20 minute drive to trail head) you can see the famous statue of Radegast, and views for miles all the way to Ostrava. Swimming is possible in a nearby dam in Horni Becva. You may walk long distances if you can :) driving, bus, and cycling would be the options. The guests must let me know what time are they checking out so the manager may come one hour before their departure.
