This beautiful property is located near the historical market town of Morpeth, the house is part of Whitehouse Farm; a family farm attraction, booking Number 2 allows you and your family access to the farm free of charge. Here you can find massive play parks, gocarts, trampolines, a huge range of animals from bunnies to snakes to eagles and even some baby lambs if you come at the right time of year. It’s the perfect family get away with lots to do for children and beautiful scenery to relax The property is newly renovated with a full kitchen, living room, downstairs toilet, upstairs bathroom, three bedrooms with a double bed, a king size bed and then bunk beds with the bottom bunk being a double bed also. The living room has a log burner and a tv which has a Amazon fire stick so you can access Netflix/Amazon prime etc if you have accounts with those. The house will only be used by the guests so you will have full access to the whole house, with a massive back garden and front drive. You will be surrounded by trees and fields for plenty of walking and adventure. The farm park will be readily accessible for guests up to 6 people. Morpeth town centre is minutes away in a car, there’s plenty of shops and things to keep you busy ! Guests can access the whole house, gardens and the farm park plus all the surrounding woods. I will meet all guests at the property to show guests around and explain how everything works and I will also be available to call or text if there’s any problems. The neighbourhood is quiet, with just three other houses on the road you are guaranteed a relaxing visit. The surrounding areas include mostly farming fields and woods. It’s a great area if you love the outdoors and the countryside and it’s a great base point if your looking to visit the historical areas Northumberland has to hold. You could visit Hadrian’s wall, seeing various Roman forts on your way. There’s breath taking castles, including Bamburgh castle, Alnwick castle and Langley castle to name a few. There’s so much wildlife to see in Northumberland, Hauxley wildlife Discovery centre is a great option. There’s so much to explore like museums and gardens, you could easily spend weeks in Northumberland. Newcastle city centre is around a 30 minute drive if your looking for a city break with so many shops, places to eat and some would say the best nightlife in the country! Northumberland has the most beautiful coast, I could not pick my favourite beach! If you get lucky in summer and pick a hot day, it does feel like your abroad. We’ll provide leaflets with more stuff to do on your visits. There is a rural route public bus that stops at the farm centre and can take you right into Morpeth. From Morpeth it is a lot easier to get places by public transport. Having a car will probably help, but it is not impossible to do without! Bikes are a great idea also. Taxis are available in the area as well. The farm park is closed November and January (from 24th December) and some Mondays in the winter. If there is a private ticketed event on e.g Christmas, access may not be available.
