Delamere Forest, and the castles of Beeston, Cholmondeley, Bolesworth and Peckforton can all be reached in around 20 minutes, as can the medieval, yet modern, market town of Nantwich. Outdoor enthusiasts can pick up the famous Sandstone Trail locally, and for history buffs, the historic Roman city of Chester is just a 30-minute drive, and is home to a whole host of attractions including a zoo, racecourse and a designer shopping outlet. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile. Free WiFi There is a pond in the garden, unfenced. A steam engine and a vintage Rolls Royce car are available - please ask the owners, charges apply.
