Larchwood Beach House Ulvshale, Island of Moen

Lovely relaxing summer house by beautiful beach Ulvshale at the Island of Moen. Bridge from Moen to Sealand. No ferry needed. 1 1/2 hrs from Copenhagen by car. Sandy beach 300m. Two double bedrooms and one bedroom with 6 bunk beds. New kitchen. One small 70´s primitive bathroom. Huge terrasse. In- and outdoor fireplace. Nature playground with swings. Lots of little spots to hang out and relax comfortably. The house is at the end of the road, so nobody can look into the garden. PURE PARADISE! 3 bedrooms (Two small double bedrooms + one bedroom with 6 bunkbeds ideal for children). We are often two families here or more. One bathroom and one outdoor shower. Fully equipped kitchen incl. dishwasher and pyrolyse oven. Induction cooker. Terrace of 50m2. Indoor and outdoor dining tables. Take pillows in under roofed terrasse at night please. 300 m to loveliest beach you will ever see - clearest and cleanest water on earth. Swings and cableline-fun on grounds for exploring kids at own risk! Little wild forest for building caves and treehouse. Tap water is drinkable. Go see the sundown on clear days, it is breathtaking. The beach is north which makes it ideal for surfers. This is nature - there will be spiders/bugs inside and out, but they are not poisonous. Ticks (Borelia Burgdorferi) should be removed within 24hrs. Seek medical advice if the Tick leaves a growing pink rash of more than 2,5 cm in diameter, you will need Penicillin. Check your children every night for Ticks. There are lots of beutiful Deer, rabbits, Phesants that pass through our garden. Restaurants: Møns bryghus, Davids, Luffes gaard etc etc Clenaing is included but make sure you leave the grill clean and take all your bottles and cans with you when leaving. Make sure you leave everything as you find it, thank you. Please bring your own bedlinen (sheet 180*200cm for doubles + 90*200cm for singles) bedspreads and towels. Dont use the high piled firewood on the terrasse between the high pillar and wall - its an installation! You can use the other wood just next to it. Enter at own risk! Because of this forest there are mosquitos at sunset in July and August. On the way to Nyord, there is also an icecream place "Ulvshale strandcafe" at Ulvshalevej (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Stege - the owners are very sweet. Its just opposite the ocean by the campsite 2 km away from the house, only open during summer. By Rema (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) there is a caramel factory "Moen bolscher", in the old sugar factory. Go into the shop and buy a little stick pr child - it costs 20.- dkr and the children can then make their own giant lollypop. Its a definate hit! You should probably grocery shop a little for breakfast on the way to the summerhouse on the afternoon/night of your arrival. When you drive into Stege the supermakets (Netto, Super brugsen, ALDI, Rema (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) etc) are just before the bridge in Stege, you cant miss them. They close most days at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Klintholm havn is also very picturesque, several fishrestaurants at the harbour. You can walk from the little town all the way along the beach to Moens klint. Car optional Remember to turn off 1. the boiler in the bathroom on the wall 2. the water in the well (outside): read the meter 3. the Heater pump (in the living room with remote if its been on) 4. Read the electricity meter outside on east wall right side of big window, in little box - turn the handle and take lid off to get access 5. leave cash for electricity, water and wood ...before you head home.
