You can walk to the cape of Sounio, as it is just a few miles from the main road. A 10-minute car drive can take you to stores for you shopping needs at the suburbs of Lavrion or Anavyssos. Legrena beach villa is situated in a private and secure area of 8.900m² landscaped gardens and trees and a big tennis-basketball court. Covering a living surface of 300m², Legrena beach villa is built in three distinct levels, and is one of the two detached villas that co-exist within the land belonging to the same family. Located in Legrena village, surrounded by a green natural beauty set against the Saronic Gulf which is connectedwith the Aegean Sea, Legrena beach villa is only 57 km away from the center of Athens, 42 km from the Athens International Airport´Eleftherios Venizelos’, and only 5 km from the Ancient Greek Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio. The villa is located in a very peaceful and quit area away from traffic and the main road, surrounded by nature of trees and gardens, a real paradise enclosed by a protected wall. It takes only a 10 minute drive to reach to the suburbs of LAVRION and⁄ or ANAVYSSOS, two places where there are big markets. Legrena village has maintained the natural beauty and respect for the environment, surrounded by mountains and hills, and a pure virgin sandy beach which is only 50 meters from the entrance of the villa. The ground floor is where the main entrance is and can be reached by following the stone-made path from the gate entrance right to the back side of the villa. Immediately you reach the living room and you can gain access to the main balcony. To the left is the living room and the sitting area with two couches and TV. To the right there is a beautiful open-plan fully equipped kitchen, and the dining area that sits 6 people. You can also arrange to eat outside, there is a dinner table at the veranda. The garden is immediately accessible from the veranda. From the side of the sitting area there is a short hallway that gives access to one double bedroom and one bedroom with one (or two) single beds. The double bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the entrance and the tree line before the beach. The other bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the back side of the villa towards the hills. There are two toilets: one comes with a shower, the other is just WC. Taking the spiral stairs to the basement floor you gain access to an open area with a fire place, an office desk a double twin bedroom with a veranda and stairs that give access to the front side of the villa, a bathroom with bathtub, and the laundry room, equipped with a washing machine, a tumbler dryer and all that is needed for ironing. The ground floor also has a separate entrance with a security door that gives access to the back side of the house and can be used as an auxiliary entrance. Using the spiral staircase and right above the ground floor you can reach the first floor, where you will find the master bedroom; from here you will have access to a deck-styled veranda with very nice view towards the west the sea and the sunset. The bedroom comes with a double king sized bed, the bathroom with WC and a Jacuzzi bath, the dressing room, and a second bathroom with WC and shower. The property is air-conditioned and comes with Wi-Fi. PS:Heating / Cooling during your stay For Winter and Early Spring months (i.e. November 1st to April 10) you can use the air conditioning system of the villa. There is an extra charge of 20 Euros per day, which is settled at check-in or, during your stay. In addition, you can use the radiator system of the villa; the unit runs on petrol, so you need to negotiate with the owner how long you need it for, and what times during the day, in order to purchase the correct amount of petrol during your stay, and program the unit appropriately. For cooling during the summer months, you can use the air conditioning system of the villa, and this is included in the rate. However, please ask the owner for instructions and guidance for a rational and environmentally-friendly use of the system. The villa is one of the two detached villas that co-exist within a 4-acre land site, both belonging to the same family (the other villa is kept for private occasional use by the family). It is surrounded by turf and the land is planted with orange and lemon trees. The actual villa is 300 sq. m. in size, and consists of three different levels. It is a newly built property. This is a great summer house to enjoy from early spring right to the middle of November. With the entrance, just a few meters from the nearest sandy beach, and a perfect spot for sunset watching, away from the crowds, but also with Cape of Sounio just a few miles down the road, it is perfect accommodation for a transit visit to Athens or even longer term holidays.
