Humberston Fitties is a quiet unique conservation site offering the chance to get away from it all. Fiddly Dee is a 'non party' holiday home welcoming families and pets to enjoy the superb beaches, coastal walks and RSPB wetland nature reserve. The Fitties beach is dog friendly all year (there are restrictions in place on Cleethorpes beach) The coastline of Cleethorpes/Humberston offers excellent opportunities for the more adventurous to enjoy SUP, Kite Surfing and other water sports. Having fallen in love with the 'Humberston Fitties,' we purchased this property as our family holiday home and undertook a renovation and refurbishment program during early 2017 to bring the tired property fully up to date with all modern facilities. The property was fully re-wired and we installed a new energy efficient electric heating and hot water system. Since then we have removed an old timber sun room and added a large Living/Dining Room with doors opening to the rear garden. The site itself was made a conservation area in 1996 and consists of over 300 individual and quirky chalets. Access to the beach is just around the corner, to the side of the Yacht Club and therefore the location of Fiddly Dee Chalet is ideal for family beach holidays. The Fitties is located in Humberston, to the south of Cleethorpes and is away from the general hustle and bustle of the main holiday resort. It is very popular with walkers & dog owners. The adjacent Tetney Marshes are a site of special scientific interest and is protected under UK & EU legislation. It has been managed by the RSPB since 1997. There are wonderful views from the sand dunes of boats and ships navigating the Humber Estuary and it has become increasingly popular with water sport enthusiasts. The whole of this detached holiday home is available to guests. Off road parking to the front garden for several cars. The large rear garden is very private and securely fenced. Although the 'Fitties' is a designated holiday site a large percentage of the properties are actually occupied 10 months of the year by owners so there is a good mix of residents and holidaying guests. Fiddly Dee is located in a small cul de sac of approx. 7 chalets, of which the majority are owner occupied and all very friendly! An ideal quiet retreat if thats what you are looking for. Own transport is recommended as bus routes and facilities are not available on site (a bus route and shop are located on the nearby Thorpe Park site) There is parking on the front for 3/4 cars.
