The loft-type apartment is a self-catering cottage. Its ideal for people staying for more than 2 nights. It has its own kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Its furnished for a comfortable stay. It has a gas and electric cooker, microwave, and a small fridge. There is also a washing machine, for guests use. Families with pets are welcome. The space is large enough to accommodate extra family members. The Coach House is a renovated space used as a barn in 1880's. The space is ideal for people staying for more than 2 nights. The Dreen, as we call the main house, is a country estate located in the Dreen Road, Cullybackey. Its an old manor house but cottages and additional living spaces has been added through the years. We have a 180 meters lake fed by the village river. The garden blooms through spring and summer. We encourage guests to walk along the gardens and around the lake. Picnic tables are placed near the lake and gardens, perfect setting for BBQ on a sunny day. The cottage/ apartment has its own kitchen and livingroom area. Guests have access to the garden and lakeside. Internet is available throughout. We live in the main house and will be available to show guests around the village of Cullybackey if they choose to be accompanied. We are 1 mile from Galgorm Manor Resort & Spa, and 700m from the Cullybackey village and 4miles from nearby towns of Ballymena and Portglanone. We recommend The Toast Cafe for coffee and breakfast (8-11:30) and excellent lunch menu. They are closed sundays and The Maine coffee bar down in the village of Cullybackey also has a snack menu. The village restaurants are open from Monday to Saturday from 8am- 5pm. Coming from Belfast International Airport, you can hop on the train to Cullybackey station. We can pick you up from the train station if needed. Taxi are available at all times in the village. The City of Belfast is 40 minutes away by car. The Dreen House is not seen from the main road, but the entrance is 300m past the red patch of road and is marked by a log with 60 DREEN on the left leaving the village immediately after No. 50 Dreen road. No smoking inside the Coach House. We have a cat that roams around the main house and gardens. He stays in our part of the house most of the time and is not allowed to the guests spaces. Permanent tenants are living in the other cottages and other guests are staying in the main house, so we encourage guests to minimise noise after 10pm as a respect to others around the area.
