Three bedrooms upstairs all with bay views, and a smaller bunk bed room for the kids or extra guests. Everything is clean, updated, and tastefully decorated. We are available by text or direct phone call almost anytime. Our reviews reflect that , and we strive to make guest stays wonderful. This home was built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , and sits among mansions on officer's row in Fort Hancock on Sandy Hook NJ. We have leased and restored the house from the National Park Service. What a wonderful opportunity to stay in the park, and the bay views are quite spectacular. We recommend a car, but bring your bikes to access and explore the park. There are several guarded beaches very nearby to relax and enjoy yourself. ( there is also the largest nude beach on the east coast ) The oldest operational light house in our country is in the backyard. It is also a museum you can visit. The History house is located a few doors down and is worth the free tour. Battery Gunnison is occasionally open for tours. But worth a visit, even if closed. Fort Hancock is just full oh history and things to say. Definitely bring your bikes, or rent one a few blocks away. While at it, bring your fishing rod, clam rake, kite, and running shoes, or flip flops. It's a special secluded spot, but also a short drive to ferry service that serves New York City. This location provides peace and quiet along with access to a quick NYC adventure.
