Cozy and family friendly vacation home

Welcome to our favourite place for vacation! We love to spend our time here, because of - the fresh air! - the unique Waddenzee experience and beautiful views along the coastline! - the fabulous sundowns! - we reach the Dyke and the sea within 3 minutes! - the quiet country life! - the cozy local Café Kalkman! - our kids are so happy here! The house is fully equipped to make your stay as convinient as possible. A functional kitchen for self-catering. One bathroom with shower and separate WC, washing machin, two queensize beds, one wheelchair accessible bedroom, lots of space to store you travell equipment. We have a spacious and cozy living room and a sheltered outdoor terrace to enjoy your time. On request we can provide a children travel bed, seat and a babychair. Please note: You won't find Pay TV in the house. Either you decide to practice your Dutch skills with the three free TV programs or even better; grap your favourite DVD for rainy days or movie nights. The house is fully yours and you're welcome to make yourself as much comfortable as you can. Since we do live in this house from time to time ourselves, you might find some of our private stuff in den cupboards. Please respect our privacy with this things. In the kitchen you're welcome to use anything you might find there left behind by us or some other tenants. I won't be around myself but will be before/during or after your stay available via AirBnB and mobile phone. On the spot our neighbour will be your contact person that takes care of you as well. Wierum is the perfect location for a quiet as well as an entertaining holiday: walks on the dyke, watt hikes, day trips to the islands Ameland and Schiermonnikoog with extensive sandy beaches, sightseeing in the historical Frisian towns Dokkum and Leuuwarden, a shopping trip to Groningen and much more guarantee a great stay for young and old. Parking on our property is not allowed. There is free parking along the road on front of the house and nearby. We do have four bikes (for adults) that can be used during your stay as well as several ones for children. On request we can provide you with a bike seat or bike adaptabale trolley for children as well.
