This place is perfect for the curious explorer, for those who like to be close to nature, as well as not too far away from the city life. Spend your time on this beautiful island called Osterøy, located among the beautiful Norwegian fjords, in a silent atmosphere. Our place offers everything you need to spend your time fully satisfied. It gives you space, fresh air and contact with nature. It offers a lot of beautiful sights, such as: hiking (for sunrise/sunset), proximity to the sea - whenever you want to take a dip or a dive. This place has a terrace where you can lay back with your favourite book, enjoying the view of the mountains and sea. We like to say that our house has a "laid back" atmosphere, which is reflected in the interior of our house. Whenever it gets chilly, you have the full opportunity to fire in the fireplace. Our place is well equipped with anything you would need during your stay. Rooms: There is three rooms available if you book the whole house, located at the loft - with possibility to either have a double bed or twin beds if desired. During your stay you will have access to the garden around the house and you can easily barbecue if you wish. There is access to the sea, for diving or other water activities on your own hand. Are you interested in yoga? Well, then this is the perfect place to practice! We offer private yoga classes or sound healing sessions if you're interested. Feel free to ask, and we will do our best to arrange something which suits you and your needs. NB: this may cost in addition, depending on the kind and length of the classes. Is vegan food something you would like to try? Ask us and we would be glad to share our experience by providing a vegan meal for your group to a additional price. Arranged transport: it is possible for us to arrange pick-up from airport/busstation/trainstation/city centre for a additional price. Contact us beforehand. The neighbourhood is quiet, family friendly and our place is located just a few minutes from a grocery store where you may find all you should need. Only 6 minutes walk from our place there is a cosy cafe, just in the right corner (between the grocery store and the ferry). In the summertime it is a must to visit the pink villa only 10 minutes walk. It is the summerhouse of the well known violinist of Norway; Ole Bull (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) It is possible to arrange a guided tour through the museum. There is only 6 minutes walk down to a ferry which takes you to the other side of the fjord (Breistein). Bus connections (bus number: 210) are available from monday-friday which takes you directly to the centre of Bergen city. Additionally to the weekdays, (on Monday-Sunday) it is possible to take the ferry to the other side of the fjord and take the bus (number: 37) to Åsane terminal, and switch therefrom to either bus number: 3, 4, 5 (which takes a detour) or 39 (which goes directly to the city centre).
