The Stoep is situated in the heart of Nieu Bethesda, a stone throw away from the Owl House, in the tourist square. The property is surrounded by lei-water, a special feature still in Nieu Bethesda. The house is over 120 years old, and has a gift of a garden as well as a wrap around stoep for chilling and star gazing. The rooms are ensuite with separate entrances. Throughout the house there is a flow of ecclectic artistic, vintage decor. The Stoep is home to some well known artworks from local artists exhibiting throughout the year, some of their art is available to purchase. Communal space available for guests with fridge and microwave. Outside areas include the wrap around stoep and garden with braai, perfect for reading or chatting under the trees. Wifi hotspot throughout. Reception is open from 8am - 5pm, where Belinda is mostly present and available to answer questions regarding the village. Nieu Bethesda is a village like no other. Remote and romantic, where time stands still. Special features include wild horses and donkeys walking the streets, the famous owl house and kitching fossil center.
