A Victorian end terrace, traditional carrstone cottage nestled in the heart of this popular village, close to shops, pub, restaurant and local beaches. Located in a quiet side street, it makes a perfect holiday bolt hole for families, couples and friends at any time of the year. A tasteful mix of classic and modern,Southvale has full central heating and is both spacious and comfortable. There are two bedrooms (king-size and twin) and two bathrooms (one is downstairs), a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove to snuggle up to when the nights draw in, a separate dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. In keeping with a cottage of this age, the stairs are steep, but they are straight and have a handrail. Little ones are well catered for, with travel cot and high chair, and two stairgates provided. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is also a very pretty enclosed rear garden which is a great suntrap (a perfect spot for having a glass of wine after a busy day out). It also has a swinging hammock and a shed that contains garden games. The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the weather! There is easy access to some wonderful beaches, wonderful birdwatching at Snettisham RSPB, lovely walks and cycling on the Peddars Way, and Sandringham House is just around the corner. Ground Floor: Kitchen A fully fitted, galley kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and window overlooking small courtyard garden. Shower room With large shower cubicle, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Dining room With feature fireplace, large dresser, table with seating for four, and pantry/storage cupboard. Sitting room To the front of the cottage, with window overlooking Station Road. Two seater sofa, two arm chairs, wood burning stove and a Smart TV combi DVD. From the inner hall, steep stairs with handrail, and fitted stairgate at the bottom, lead to: First Floor: Master bedroom To the back of the cottage with a king-size iron bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe cupboard. En-suite bathroom With a bath, wash basin and WC. Twin bedroom At the front of the cottage, with two full-size single iron bedsteads, decorative original fireplace, chest of drawers, dressing table, wardrobe cupboard and fitted stairgate. Outside: There is a small fenced garden to the front, but the main, enclosed garden is at the rear of the cottage. Mostly laid to lawn, it has a raised decked area with seating and shed (ideal for storing bikes). Parking is available for two cars on the driveway, which is shared with the house across the drive from Southvale. Access must always be available for the adjoining house. Additional Information In keeping with a cottage of this age, the stairs are steep, but they are straight and have a handrail. Little ones are well catered for, with travel cot and high chair, and two stairgates provided. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). There is also an enclosed garden, safe for both children and dogs to enjoy.
