Surrounded by excellent walking country you’ll find ample lanes, bridleways and paths perfect for cycling and walking. A 10-minute stroll will take you directly to a local pub serving food, and Eldon Hole, one of the seven wonders of the Peak District, is just over a mile away. The large village of Tideswell with ample amenities can be reached in around a 5-minute drive, and the pretty village of Edale, which is also home to the start/end of the long distance Pennine Way footpath, is around a 15-minute drive. The beautiful honeypot village of Castleton can also be reached in around 15 minutes, as can the fascinating plague village of Eyam. The larger towns of both Buxton and Bakewell are just 20 minutes away making this a wonderful central base. Shop 4¼ miles, pub and restaurant 175 yards. Free WiFi There are 12 steps in the garden.
