Beautiful Romantic Neo-Gothic Countryside Chateau Nestled In The Foothills Of The Majestic Pyrenees The accomodation consists of an Exclusive ground floor apartment within a beautifuliy restored French Chateau. Set in a quiet peaceful rural location, on the borders of the Gers, Hautes Pyrenees and Hautes Garonne Departments. Surrounded by woodland and fields of corn and sunflowers during the summer months, a beautiful river flows through the garden. There is a large double bedroom with antique 4 post bed and sitting area, adjacent bathroom with bath tub and wetroom shower and toilet, there is also a seperate adjoining room with loo. The main living room is tastefully decorated, has original feature fireplace with woodburner and has a large comfy sofa, and a small desk for those who cant leave work behind them. There is free wi-fi at the property inside and out. The apartment has a large dining area with marble table, as well as a fully equiped kitchen area with wine stocked fridge, and dishwasher as well as oven and hob. The Owners Snooker room is available if you wish. Outside there are barbequing and outdoor dining facilities. There is a beautiful outdoor marble swimming pool for use during the summer months, and sun loungers are available. The use of the owners private gym facilities are available if you wish, inside the pool house. Bicycles are available, and also a willing Dog available if you like walking! A car is a necessity as the location is in the countryside, there is a small village restaurant about 5 minutes drive away, and others about 10 minutes drive away. There is a small shop within walking distance (30 minutes) alhough its a 2 minute drive, which you may prefer, and a larger village with epicerie, pharmacie & boulangerie 5 minutes away. Many people come to the area to cylce the tour de France mountain routes, although not for the faint hearted! If you like the idea of a Pilgrimage Lourdes is about an hour away, and there are many mountain walk ways, to keep you fit. Or you may want to stay at the chateau by the pool.
