The house was built in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s and retains much of the original Victorian features. We are situated in the center of lerwick, only a five minute walk to the town center, where you will find local shops, pubs, resteraunts and tourist info. The location is ideal for visitors to our beautiful islands whether travelling by car, bike or foot. Rooms to suit all budgets. We have 2 guesthouses side by side. One of the kitchens is available available for guest use along with laundry room and lounge. We are on call divert at all times (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Wonderful, beautiful, unique and secure - but the weather can be challenging!!! Car is the easiest and quickest way to see Shetland. Car hire should be done in advance during peaks months. Bikes can be hired but the hills are many and there is lots of wind - not for the unfit. Local buses can get you to places but are limited to several places. The Tourist Information center is great for sorting timetables out for the buses and ferries. Brilliant walks in and around Lerwick. We have a great deal of knowledge about Shetland that we would love to share with you to make your visit to Shetland as wonderful as possible. Bags can be left at the guesthouse before check in by arrangement. No need to waste your holiday time!
