Greetings!! Thanks to new Boulder County guidance, if you are fully vaccinated, there are no restrictions on wearing a mask indoors. However, you must show a vaccine passport and last vaccine must have been given at least two weeks before arrival. Text a photo of it to me or bring your pass with you. The Airbnb space is comfortable 2-bedrooms in private hallway of my home w/ YOUR private bath and entrance. Fridge in one of the bedrooms. Wifi, secluded and quiet,5 min. walk to town. My property is one of the most private and scenic in town. All the willows around the creek on the side of my house provide a virtual wall around the property with no visibility from other homes around me. The house sits in the middle of four city lots. The creek in the backyard calls you to sit on the bank and comtemplate. My home is a perfect floor plan for hosting AIRBNB guests. As you walk into the house through the mudroom, there is a private hallway which is the guest suite. It consists of two beautifully decorated bedrooms and a private bath. Each room has a queen bed, a comfortable reading chair, full closet and a place for suitcases. The queen beds are brand new. European down comforter and pillows make the rooms very comfortable and cozy. An extra added bonus of staying here is that almost everything I use to decorate is for sale. I love to mix it up and refresh my decor. Having owned an antiques/ art gallery here in town for 25 years, I like to think I have excellent taste. I love to share this with my guests. If you see something you like, just ask if it is for sale and the price. Obviously, I don't sell my family heirlooms, but you can enjoy looking at them while you're here. Guests are welcome and encouraged to use my living room and kitchen. My bedroom and bath are on the other side of the kitchen, completely separate from the rest of the house. So this listing is NOT a completely private apartment/house. I sleep here. I am full of local lore stories and obviously have a good lay of the land. My residence in and around Nederland spans nearly 40 years. I can recommend hike and ski trails for your ability. I also know most of the local population so I can connect you with people who can assist in making your Nederland stay as customized as you would like it to be. PROPERTY LICENSE # NED030 My house is really hidden from the road and in a very quiet neighborhood, yet still only three-four blocks from town businesses and services. I find almost all my guests appreciate such a short walk to food, saloons, dancing and music. As Nederland is in the Regional Transportation District (RTD) and the local Park and Ride Center is two blocks from my front door, it is possible to travel to Nederland without driving a car and walk to this AIRBNB listing. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and great room as well as the yard. Skis and bicycles can be stored in the detached garage. There is a washer and dryer as well as a gas fireplace. I live in the main area of the house. I work out of my house so I am available to my guests when I am at home, which is most of the time. I would enjoy your company and be available to answer any questions, make recommendations for hikes and ski trails and general information. I owned a business in Nederland for 23 years, was president of the Chamber of Commerce for five, and chaired the Downtown Development Authority for 7. So I do know a few things about our sweet community. I love the access to town, just a short walk to the grocery, restaurants, music venues, coffee shops and more. My neighborhood is very quiet and secluded. There are ample things in Nederland to experience, such as the Carousel of Happiness, an original Louff carousel that has been restored in original fashion that draws people from all over the world. We also have the Mining Museum run by Boulder County. Of course, Nederland is the center for access to dozens of great hiking/backcountry trails in the Indian Peaks and James Peak Wilderness Area and Eldora Mountain Resort. Black Hawk and Central City, old mining towns that now offer gaming/gambling are 20 miles away. Estes Park and Rocky Mtn. National Park are 40 miles away. It is a five-minute walk to a grocery, hardware store, restaurants, retail, liquor store and dispensaries. The Regional Transportation District (RTD) Park and Ride facility is located two blocks from my house. Ideally, you can take the RTD from Boulder, Denver or even DIA and get to Nederland and back without needing a car. I also own a bicycle which you are welcome to use. You will not regret booking this space. I feel like I live in a little slice of paradise. I have been so happy here. My guests tell me that they feel this is a place of healing.
