Located near to the city center and railway stations, Villa Jääskelä is a great choise for your visit to Hanko. Granny's Chambre is an adorable upstairs room. This small chambre has two comfortable beds and a nostalgic athmosphere created by it's traditional decoration. You will share the bathroom and common space with our other guests. Room door has a latch on the inside and a padlock on the outside. Please note: - The staircase is steep. - Bedsheets and towels are not included in the price. Villa Jääskelä Hanko is a peculiar, recently renovated house from 19th century. It is owned and run by three Jääskelä siblings. In the Villa we have three apartments dowstairs and several rooms upstairs together with shared facilities. At the moment we are able to accommodate up to 15 people in our individially decorated, comfortable rooms. Villa Jääskelä is located close to Hanko centre and railway station. It is easy to arrive there by train, bus, your own car or even by a bicycle. We offer basic needs for your stay, such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo and hair conditioner. Also, coffee and tea are available on behalf of the house. As our premises for taking care of the linen are very limited, we are not able to offer bedsheets and bath towels included in the price. However, the linen is available for rent with extra cost of 20,00 €/person. Granny's Chambre is located upstairs, where we have other guest rooms as well. In addition to your own room, shared common space facilities in upstairs' bathroom and hall are at your disposal. The bathroom has a toilet, a wash-basin, a shower, a washing machine and a tumble-dryer. There is no actual kitchen upstairs (no stove nor oven), but you are welcome to bring your own food and prepare it in the hall. The hall is equipped with basic kitchenware together with a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, an electric kettle and a coffee maker. Coffee and tea are complementary on the house. You are also welcome to spend time on the large and sunny yard that surrounds the Villa. The yard has an outdoors fireplace, which you may use for preparing barbecue meals. I will welcome you as our guest, take you to your room and show you the facilities. I'm happy to tell you about the surroundings of the Villa and about Hanko in general. There are also Hanko travel guide booklets and maps available at the house. In case you have any questions or problems during your stay, you are always welcome to ask for an advice. In general, I respect our guests' need for peace during their holiday. Just like I value some privacy in my own life. The Villa is family owned with my sister and brother, so with some good luck you might meet some of my family and friends during your visit. Villa Jääskelä Hanko is situated in a peaceful area, right next to the railway, in the shade of three old elm trees. The house is surrounded by a large yard, perferct for those lazy, sunny summer afternoons. Hanko's main services and leisures are all at a walking distance from the Villa. You will reach them all by foot in ten to twenty minutes; Hanko's centrum with the dashing red water tower and the small shopping street Vuorikatu, some of Hanko's famous sand beaches, Eastern Haurbour with numerous fun and delicous restaurants just by the sea, tennis courts and beautifully decorated wooden villas of the spa park district. Explore Hanko yourself or ask some local hints from your hostess!
