Little oasis in nature

For romantic, relaxed days in nature, away from stress, just for two, for lovers, for those in need of rest, for garden lovers - just switch off - our guest house (approx. 40 sqm) offers all of this in the middle of our garden (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sqm), surrounded by forest and church. For everyone who can do without TV. 2 km from the small village of Falkenfels with a castle and a pond. The Straubinger Volksfest attracts, the Unesco World Heritage Regensburg, skiing or hiking in St. Englmar or on the Arber. The living room is equipped with a fireplace, the wood is charged according to consumption. The stairs to the bedroom are relatively steep and the attic of the bedroom is very low. There is only 1 small window there, so the room is a bit darker, but additional light falls into the room from the bathroom. The bed is 1.60 mx 2.00 m and has a rather hard mattress and a shared duvet. The bathroom has a shower with a shower curtain and a hairdryer, hot water bottle, shower gel, handsoap and handcream and toilet paper. Wifi is currently not the best. In summer you can use the covered area next to the bred oven as a terrace, as well as an area of the garden behind the house and the cozy, rural seating area under vines behind the barn and a seating area by the forest. This is a great place for yoga and meditation. Ask the host for yoga mat and meditation cushion if required. It is possible to borrow a Nespresso capsule machine. The capsules for this are available at an additional cost. Iron and ironing board are also available if required. Things like sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices and homemade jam are in storage. It would be ideal to download offline maps for hiking or exploring, because the network in our region is often not sufficient for (Hidden by Airbnb) maps and so on. We are happy to give you tips for hikes, city tours and excursions. And if you are interested I lead you through our garden. If you leave the front door, the hiking tracks start, you can also start to jog or to explore the area with bicycles borrowed from us or do cross-country skiing when there is snow. In summer you can swim in the pond of our village. In the surroundings of Straubing there are also a lot ponds, one of those offers water-skiing. The bakery is 1,5 km way, the butcher about 5 km, the next supermarket in Ascha 5 km, in Mitterfels 11 km. To go ski in St. Englmar and Arber and Bretterschachten. Towns: Straubing 21 km, (20 min to drive), Deggendorf 44 km, (30 min), St. Englmar 27 km ( 30 min) Regensburg 46 km ( 35 km) We live alone, so a car is an absolute must to explore the area. Buses drive very rarely in Falkenfels. But there is the possibility to rent e-bikes in the vicinity. Since we have three cats, which live mainly in the barn, it may happen that they visit you. Please do not let them into the house, as other guests may have allergies to cat hair. If you don't want to be disturbed or the begging becomes too bad - please scare them away vehemently! ;)
