This richness in historical heritage is visible throughout the county. In the parish of Pedrógão this patrimony is also present, in the Mother Church, Clock Tower and Ermida de Santa Luzia. In the village of Marmelar, at the foot of the mountain, stands the Parish Church of Santa Brígida, of Mudejar inspiration. Selmes is a traditional village on the Alentejo plain, crossed by the homonymous river, on which stands a small apparently Roman bridge. Of its monuments, we can highlight the Mother Church of Santa Catarina and a typical urban complex, punctuated by 6 niches in masonry that constitute the stations of the Via Sacra. In the same parish, but already at the foot of the mountain, is Alcaria da Serra, a small village of popular architecture, where stands out the Church of Our Lady of the Relics.
