The village of Paesens-Moddergat, an authentic twin village with lots of fishing history, is located right on the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The other side of the dike offers beautiful walks; you can go out onto the mudflats for up to a kilometre without getting your feet wet. There's a mudflat hiking centre around the corner. At the end of 2020, this house was completely renovated and equipped with all modern comforts. During the renovation, the characteristic elements of the house have been preserved and nothing has changed on the outside. The atmosphere and nostalgia of the past, combined with the conveniences and comfort of today.
