Turquoise Splendor offers tranquility, calming breezes, and spectacular ocean sunsets that are the dreams of vacations. The 180 degree ocean view is a one minute stroll from your private patio. Perfect for couples, or families. The normal minimum stay is four nights, but enquirers for three nights may be accepted . Turquoise Splendor, at Marazul Dive Resort, is a tastefully decorated tropical two floor unit with private front and back entrances, located on the Caribbean Ocean. Relax on the main floor deck or upper floor balcony as trade winds rustle the palm leaves and enjoy the relaxing Marazul garden with limited ocean view. As you walk into your vacation home you are greeted with an open main floor consisting of a comfortable sitting area, kitchen, dining area and full bathroom. The sitting area has a comfortable sofa bed for the extra guest or two. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for your Curacao culinary adventures; a five burner gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and all the necessary dishes and cutlery. An air conditioner may be used or ceiling fans move the cooling ocean breeze throughout the main floor. The living room is equipped with a wireless router with WLAN ports to link to your laptop with a LAN cable providing the speed and quality necessary to keep in touch with your office through video apps. The TV is not connected to cable or satellite service but is ready to connect to your laptop and your online viewing service. Settle into your expanded, air conditioned bedroom on the second floor with a queen size bed, full bathroom, walk in closet and safe. Glass doors open to the shaded patio with its calming view, comfortable chairs/table and day bed. The unit has a total area of 91.5 square meters (985 sq ft). All windows are screened. There is 220 and 110 volt throughout the unit. Hot and cold water is available in both bathrooms and the kitchen. Marazul Dive Resort is gated (code access), guarded at night, well maintained, and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Less than a minute stroll from your patio, on the ocean side of the resort, is a salt water pool surrounded by palm trees and lounge chairs. Marazul Dive Resort has a manager who helps take care of all your needs. There are linens, towels, toilet paper and soap in the unit on your arrival. The unit is self-catering. It is not a hotel where there is daily cleaning. The unit is available for both short term and long term rentals. A sea wall sits above a 9 meter (30 foot) cliff overlooking the Caribbean Ocean. Sunsets from here are absolutely spectacular! The vast semicircular Westpunt Bay is accessed via two stairways (one on the right and one on the left of the resort) where you can slip into the turquoise colored Caribbean Ocean for a swim, snorkel or dive. - Salt water pool - Pool side lounge chairs - On site snorkeling / diving / swimming - Private high speed WiFi ideal for video conferencing - Charcoal Grill - On site coin operated washing machine - Short drive (5 - 15 minutes) to the islands best beaches Though we will not be on the island while you are guests at Turquoise Splendor, we do everything possible to keep in close communication through email. Marazul Dive Resort is located just outside of the fishing village of Westpunt, at the northwest end of Curacao. Westpunt and the surrounding area is quiet, relaxing and safe. Two National Parks are a 15 minute drive away. The best beaches on the island are less than a ten minute drive and the dive and snorkel sites are easily accessed. The Hato International Airport is a 30 minute drive away and Willemstad is about anther 10 minutes. Curacao offers bus service to Westpunt, taxis, or shuttle services can be accessed, but we recommend renting a car for your stay on Curacao. This gives complete freedom to visit various beaches, National Parks and sights in Willemstad. SCUBA DIVING GoWest (playa Kalki) is THE place. Please find all info in their website. GoWest is 7 min drive from Marazul to the left. A 10 minute drive to the right will take you to Discover Diving and Restaurant at Lagun. BEACHES The absolute best beaches on Curacao are within a maximum ten minute drive. NATIONAL PARKS Shete Boka National Park and Christoffel National Park are a 15 minute drive from your unit. WILLEMSTAD The historic city of Willemstad is about a 35 minute drive (depending on traffic) to the east.
