The Annex @ Gecko

The Annex @ Gecko is a totally self contained studio unit and can be isolated from the rest of the property. Set up as either a Twin room or King Room. Booked on a self catering basis along with the availability of breakfast and supper (24 hours notice please). Automatic entrance gate with parking within the property. The Annex does share a courtyard with the main house, however, social distancing is fully adhered to. A perfect spot to sleep for a few nights. Laundry facilities available. This Ensuite Private Bedroom (Not connected to the house or to Gecko Cottage) Studio room. This is a 2 Person room only. If using the Annex for two persons only and not in conjunction with Gecko Cottage, then the bedroom is a perfect stop over for one or two nights while touring the area, or as a 'sleep over' while travelling. Cooking facilities are minimal in the Room. There is a Kettle, Small Bar Fridge and a Microwave in the room. The Annex shares a courtyard with the main house and we have 2 very friendly dogs, that you can meet if you would like, but if not, they will be on our side of the property secure behind our gates. They LOVE visitors. There is a table and two chairs outside under the small covered area for the Annex guests, where you can eat or a great place to put your tablet to chat to friends or facetime via social media.. I can advise you of routes in the area, especially the Kruger Park and places worth visiting locally. We are quite knowledgeable regards Mozambique and Swaziland, so any assistance with that we would gladly share. If you like your own space and quietness, then, of course, you would have it. Hectorspruit is a small village between Malelane and Komatipoort, which has the availability of a bottle store and butchers along with the Historical Buffalo Hotel where home cooked food is available. Just a 20 min drive into the Kruger Park, either by Crocodile Bridge or Malelane Gate. Swaziland is a 30 min drive to Jeppe Reef Border post and a 20 min drive to Lebombo (Moz) Border Post. We don't have any public transport in the area. The area is safe for Cycling. We do have two dogs on the property. They are very friendly, however, if you are nervous of dogs please advise us and they will keep to our side of the property,
