Gapa House

Gapa House is located in a quiet area of Swellendam 10 minutes walk from the village. Breathtaking views of the mountains and the forest of the Marloth Reserve. The rooms are contemporary in style with a tv, mini bar, air / co a bath or Italian shower. At your disposal a swimming pool, jacuzzi and a large terrace to relax. Free parking at your disposal. We speak French, English, German, Swedish and Afrikaans. Breakfast and the room for two people included! Welcome at Gapa House. Guests can access living room terrace and pool deck Pool, jacuzzi, living room, pool house, louge bar. We cater for privacy to our guests and are very seldom left alone at the property, we are there if needed to assist or give tips and traveling ideas. Gapahouse is situated on “Drosdy Kop” and overlooks the village the the backdrop of Marloth Nature Reserve, most restaurants are within walking distance. The out of town attractions like Marloth Nature Reserve and bontebok National park can be reached and experienced by foot or mountain bike, tradouw pass and barrydale is a fantastic drive as well as a day at the beach at Witsand. We moved to South Africa 3 years ago from Belgium to the picturesque village of Swellendam, Western Cape. We are well Travelled and appreciate good food and wine together with living in a comfortable home which we want to share with other Travellers from all over the world. Together with the self catering house in Hermanus we can offer both short overnight stays along the Garden route and the experiene of the Whale coast of South Africa, a truly magnificent place to be. We have 2 dogs whom we take where ever we can with us on our travels. We enjoy Mediteranean Cuisine and often cook for friends and family and also enjoy just a traditional South African "Braai". Our Travel style is reflected in our Guest House, which is aimed at a comfortable stay with most ammenities and selected decor.
