Guest house, (Coastal Joy) is centrally located; very near to beach, promenade, and all amenities. Newly refurbished and tastefully decorated the house also benefits from a fabulous hot tub and sauna. Located within walking distance to pubs; Italian and Indian restaurants, shops, cafes and an assortment of take-a-ways. A Lynx golf course and a Maritime Centre (overlooking the beach), all in close proximity. Televisions and DVD players in all bedrooms, and all guests have access to a variety of DVD’s and music CD’s. Reserve a private session with your partner, in the hot tub (£10 per hour) or sauna (£6 per 30 minute session). BEDROOM ONE: located on the first floor of the town house; up one flight of stairs. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There is free parking on the road to the front of the house, in fact parking throughout Newbiggin by the Sea is free. Proprietors live at the property; hence available for any advice or guidance needed. Guests will also have a contact telephone number to enable them to contact the owners if needed. We have enthusiastically ran a holiday let for many years and guests frequently comment about the friendliness of the local people. Guests who have stayed at our property have rewarded the care and attention we pay to detail with a 5 star rating. We genuinely want to do our utmost to ensure people enjoy their stay. The Central offers bands or karaoke on a Saturday night. On a Sunday you can get a beautiful Sunday lunch. Like quizzes - the Old Ship hosts a regular Thursday evening quiz and you will be made very welcome by the locals. This establishment also does a Sunday lunch. Northumberland has a beautiful coastal route. Take a drive to Amble and get a boat to the Farne Islands, or Alnwick Castle (the location of the Harry Potter films). Also, a particular favourite, Alnwick gardens. Visit Warkworth or Seahouses. Or go south and visit Seaton Sluice, Cullercoats, Whitley Bay or Tynemouth in North Tyneside. Newbiggin by the Sea also has a cycle route if you wish to bring your cycles; which we would be happy to house for you. Hot tub and sauna - these facilities can be reserved during stay for private use. To enable guests to plan their holiday itinerary, there will be lots of leaflets and books at the property showing the surrounding area. There is free parking on the road to the front of the house, and a car park nearby. If you fancy a day in Newcastle where there is lots to see and do, but don’t want to drive, the X21 bus runs every 30 minutes into the City.
