Family-friendly Home, Close to VU, Yoga, & Beach!

Our home is welcome to travelers, families moving kids into college at Valparaiso University, International students or if you want a retreat for the weekend. We are close to the Indiana Dunes, Chicago, and Southwest Michigan if you choose to do day trips and have us as your home base. One Yoga Studio is also nearby and offers workshops and a great variety of daily classes. We have a family friendly home and neighborhood. We are also an Open Home to those traveling with special needs. Valparaiso University is 2 miles away. Great for visiting students or visiting your alma mater! All rooms of the house are accessible to guests. Washer, dryer and small fridge downstairs. Refrigerator and cabinet space in kitchen also available. We will not be available in person for most of your stay. On some occasions we meet the guests at check-in or check-out, but will notify you first. We are always available via messaging if you have questions or want to know a good place to eat! COVID-19: We are accepting long-term stays, quarantine stays, and vacationers. We have adapted our booking schedule to meet CDC guidelines, requiring at least 72 hours between guest stays. We also follow the CDC guidelines for disinfecting/sanitizing our house between guests. If you choose to stay longer than 2 weeks, we will schedule a second cleaning during your stay. Depending on how long social distancing continues, we are in a nice walkable/biking neighborhood. State Parks remain open if you choose to visit Dunes State Park. We also provide fast and reliable wifi if you choose to stay in or need to work from home. Our neighborhood is full of kids and families. We are close to the popular Valplayso park. Downtown Valparaiso is a 5 minute drive and is full of boutiques, great restaurants. Central Park Plaza is the happening place with movies in the park, music, farmer's market, splash pad, and pavilion that is an ice rink in the winter. The V-Line is our local public transportation and has a stop near our house. Our home has our personal belongings present, but we have also provided space in each bedroom for guests to store their belongings. Please respect our things and use the designated spaces for your personal things.
