The house is almost the last house on the edge of a small hamlet of Obertrubach, in the Franconian Switzerland. The apartment has its own entrance on the first floor of our house, with a beautiful view of the natural world around us and a lot of rest. The apartment has three bedrooms, two with 2 double beds and one with two single beds. There is a living-dining area with a fully equipped nice kitchen and two additional bathrooms with shower. The apartment has underfloor heating, a large balcony and a lot of windows with lots of light and air and blinds for undisturbed sleep. (The apartment is located in the large house, not in the small white house, neither in the barn...!) The large balcony in summer makes it really nice to spend summer nights outside. Free Wi-Fi is available in the apartment. You are welcome to share a washing machine in the ground floor. In the garden, in the woods and in the meadow there is plenty of space for playing, barbecuing, relaxing, reading or simply enjoy. We will help you with the planning of walks, bike rides or trips to the "Fraenkische", as well as trips to Nuremberg, Erlangen, Bamberg and Bayreuth and help you of course, to find the best local places for "Schnitzel", cakes, roasts, beers or trout. The area is not spectacular, but just beautiful, with lots of lovable scenery, lots of "down to earth mentality", good food and friendly people ...and if you like to get into the city, you will drive to Nuremberg, Bayreuth or Bamberg in about 30 minutes. From Nuremberg Airport it is a 35 minute drive to Obertrubach, the nearest railway station with regular trains to Nuremberg is about 10 minutes away by car. Buses run every day, but rarely ... Toy fair, BioFach and other Fairs in Nuremberg can be reached via Highway 9 in about 35-45 minutes. The apartment has about 120 square meters, which is more than enough room for 6 people. We hope for the understanding of all dog owners that we wish - with consideration for guests with allergies - no pets in the apartment.
