We are taking extra care to thoroughly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces in-between reservations. Additionally, our vacation home makes it easy to minimize person-to-person contact and isolate during your staycation by: -having a single-family, child-friendly home to isolate -offering self-check-in -having a private entrance -having an enclosed front porch with views of the Main Street -enjoying the expansive back yard with its trees, fire pit, outdoor seating, and hidden views of the river -it’s location! We are situated in-between two quiet office buildings (vacant at the moment) -it’s convenience to order ahead, walk 5-mins, and take away from local restaurants (we will leave info for you!) -offering wifi and comfortable workspaces Our home sits atop a sloped road leading to Lake Michigan. Itis a two level property with stairs. On the STREET LEVEL there is a: -living room with fireplace and large screen tv -outdoor balcony -enclosed porch -3 bedrooms (the “Garden Room” with a king bed, the “London Room” with iconic British charm, and the “Hidden Mickey Room” with a twin bed) - one bathroom with shower -convenient beverage station with Keurig machine and mini-fridge/freezer The GROUND LEVELconsists of a: -large fully equipped eat-in kitchen -outdoor patio -den with a new sofa sleeper and tv -full bathroom with clawfoot bathtub, and a laundry room with washer/dryer. Throughout the house, cozy yet contemporary decor hints at our personal connections to three of our most-traveled vacation destinations : the Midwest (Chicago), England, and Disney World! Freshly laundered sheets & towels, basic toiletries, and kitchen essentials are provided for your use. Please contact me via the Airbnb messaging platform. Directly across the street from the public library and within view of the visitor center, this home is situated on the main road for visitors. You can literally watch the festivities of the Fourth of July parade and fireworks from the front yard! It has a beautiful view of Lake Michigan at sunrise/sunset. There is a community pool with waterpark located 1/2 mile away open seasonally for a small fee. There are numerous outside patio-dining options or take-aways at the casual restaurants, sweet shops, bars, coffee house, bakery, and shops within a 5-minute walk away. There is a gas station two lots east of the house that carries many household pantry items such as milk, bread, snacks and beverages, personal toiletries, firewood, etc. For larger grocery and/or pharmacy purchases, there is a Super Walmart, Walgreens, and Piggly Wiggly Grocery on Hwy 33 only 2.5 miles miles from the house. While I personally recommend the Smith Brothers Coffee Company (2blocks east of the house on Lake Michigan), there is a Starbucks coffee in Grafton located off I-94 approximately 6 miles from the house. EVERYTHING in the Main Street vicinity is within 5 minutes by foot. Driveway parking accommodates 2 vehicles on parking pad. Additional street parking is for day use, otherwise will be ticketed. We will provide you with a keyless lock entry code on the day prior to your arrival.
