Koans Kuhstall - the ultimate rural retreat

Koans Kuhstall consists of the first floor of the former stables and an extension. It is part of a complex of farm buildings dating back to (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and is located in a small, peaceful village with direct access to hiking and cycling paths. We have tried to create a cosy and comfortable space for you - ideal for families, couples or simply someone looking for some peace and quiet. Since we live next door, we are always at hand should you need anything. Koans Kuhstall has a large living and dining room with a small separate kitchen corner. The main bedroom features a double-bed, a single bed and a reading corner. The small bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed. There are toys and books for children. Additional equipment for babies or toddlers can be provided. There is a small bathroom with a wash-basin and a shower, and another small room with a toilet and a washing machine. The entrance room is a combination of a hall and another sitting area with access to a small private terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Koans Kuhstall has its own front door and all rooms are only used by the guests. Access to the holiday home is through the former cow's stable, which is currently used as a multi-purpose-room and can be used by the guests to park bicycles, prams etc. We live next door and will try to help with anything, especially advise on what to do and see in the area. Recommondations for trips into the beautiful surrounding landscape aswell as sightseeing trips to the nearest towns, Marburg, Gießen or Wetzlar can be given. There is a bank, post office, supermarket and some restaurants in the next village (2km away), but the highlight is the lake (Aartalsee) with nice walks, windsurfing and a beach. It is easy to reach us by car, but very tricky with public transport. Should you need a lift from a nearby trainstation we will try to help you. Hiking and cyling paths are everywhere and well marked or signposted. We currently provide two bicycles for adults and are hoping to be able to offer bicycles for children and teens in future.
