Located in a quiet Bass Harbor neighborhood, just a two minute walk to the water. Four bedrooms two bathrooms. Laundry room and a large living room and kitchen for gathering. Outdoor fire pit, Central Air. Dog Friendly. Enjoy 1 king sized bed in a king sized room on the top floor with its' own master bathroom. On the main floor there are 3 bedrooms each with Queen beds and one full bathroom. There is a large common area consisting of the kitchen, dining and living area.The kitchen is furnished with new appliances and everything you'll need to cook meals for a full house. We have WIFI and Time Warner Cables on three T.V.'S A large capacity washer and dryer are located in a separate laundry room. For the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) season we have added three heat pumps for both heating and air conditioning purposes. Outside you will enjoy a large elevated deck with a gas grill and table with chairs. We have a fire ring and chairs if you want to enjoy roasting marshmellows. If you need space for a larger group, we have another house next door that can be viewed at https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/26716299?s=51 You will access the house thru a keypad. No need for carrying around extra keys. We live just down the road from this rental and are available at all times if you need us for anything. We also can be found at the Southwest Harbor Marina with local fishermen/fisherwomen who will have fresh lobsters for purchase. Captain Wid's is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is several hundred yards from beautiful Bass Harbor which is known as a working harbor because of the many lobstering boats that call this harbor home. No cruise ships here. On foggy days you will hear the horn of the ferry to Swans Island. The Island Explorer has two bus stops within walking distance to our home. The closest stop is at the Swan's Island Ferry Terminal, roughly half a mile away. There are many stairs in this rental. Please be aware that all members of your group will need to be able to climb stairs.
