Country house separated from the village by a narrow (but passable with a van or SUV), short and steep road. Very quiet and peaceful. Charming country house near Lake Maggiore and Laveno (5 km) and about twenty kilometres from Varese. The house is on two levels, was renovated in 2012: On the ground floor there is the kitchen and bathroom, upstairs the bed and a living room. The top of the hill, where the church of San Clemente is located - attested since the 13th century and from where you have a magnificent view of the Gulf of Laveno and Lake Maggiore - can be reached from Sangiano; from behind the house you can reach the Balconata Picuz. There are cycle paths between Laveno and Comabbio and around Lake Varese (26 km). In spring and summer a boat connects Laveno to Santa Caterina del Sasso. Villa Della Porta Bozzolo and the 'painted village' Arcumeggia can be reached in less than ten minutes. But you can simply relax in the garden, have lunch or dinner in the cradle of tranquillity.
