The village has 3 beaches. In the Centre the Afife Beach (family-beach lifeguard), North to "Praia da Ínsua" (wild Beach, with excellent water quality, due to the concentration of iodine) and to the South the "Arda" Beach (surf beach-lifeguard). Is a house at the one of the most beautiful beaches in the north of portugal. Walking about 10 minutes through green fields and dunes you´l reach the beach. Some of the beaches are nearly desert.
