This holiday house has been lovingly decorated to create a shabby chic style space that invites you to kick off your sandals and revel in the comforts of seaside luxury. Secret Dawn has a superb meandering indoor/outdoor living space that can be enjoyed whichever way the wind blows. There are spectacular views of the sea, beach and sand dunes from the East deck. A large new deck/entertainment area on the sheltered West side surrounds a sparkling blue plunge pool. Loungers, sun umbrellas, ample seating and BBQ area combine to make this area perfect for enjoying outdoor entertainment. The main bedroom is HUGE with a romantic balcony dawn view to the sea and a comfortable sitting area to relax and enjoy some quiet time. All three bedrooms are en-suite with a large bath in the master en-suite - again with magnificent views. The open planned living area, fully equipped kitchen and stack-away doors will provide you with the true African Coastal Experience. The entire house will be available for guests who book this accommodation; no parts of the house will be shared with anyone else. Keys will be handed over on arrival and help will be available throughout your stay if required. Secret Dawn is situated in Kenton on Sea on the sunshine coast in the Eastern Cape half way between Port Elizabeth (1&1/2-hour drive) and East London (2-hour drive). Both towns have Airports and transfers can be arranged, however we advise that guests to consider having a car to get around while in Kenton. Car rentals are readily available at both Airports. The region’s climate is renowned with the most days of sunshine recorded on an annual basis in South Africa. The mild climate averages at 20°C during July and 26°C in February, with the nights seldom cooling down below 9°C, even in the dead of winter giving you the perfect excuse to light up the coziest of wood burning stoves and snuggle up. Kenton on Sea is a traditional South African costal town nestled between two rivers. With so many rivers and beaches in the surrounding area, there is a host of water sports to choose from; these include deep-sea fishing, kayaking on the river, lazy afternoon cruises and wakeboarding. Port Alfred also offers the perfect surfing conditions, especially during winter while Cannon Rocks is known as one of the best kitesurfing spots in the world. Not a fan of getting wet? there are other activities; golf at the Royal Port Alfred, horse-riding, bowls, croquet, shopping and hiking. Kenton has limited transport services so it is advisable to have your own car. Airports transfer can be arranged from Port Elizabeth or East London; however, we advise that guests to have a car to get around while in Kenton. Car rentals are readily available at both Airports.
