We aim to provide you with hotel style amenities while maintaining the home comforts that are so important to travelers on business or pleasure. The unit is a spacious, self-contained basement apartment in a colonial style home. You will enjoy a quiet and secure environment, but still be close to shops, restaurants and the New England Sports Center. Easy access to Routes 290 and 495 provides great accessibility to towns and cities in the Metrowest area. There are stairs leading up to the main house with a door at the top. Before entering the apartment for housekeeping etc., we will always knock and wait before entering. Should you wish to speak with us directly, then please feel free to use the stairs and, similarly, knock and wait before entering our space. The private entrance to the apartment is at the rear of the property and is accessed by crossing our grass lawn. There is a gentle slope that, for most people is not a problem. If, however, you prefer to use the front door to the property for any reason, you will be provided with a second door key. We are almost always available to our guests. We want you to feel at home , so please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable. You will be staying in a very quiet area surrounded by open space and woodland. Enjoy your private patio, listen to the birds sing and watch the wildlife that frequents our backyard. We are situated some 33 miles to the west of downtown Boston and 15 miles to the east of Worcester. The are many hiking and biking trails in the area. The New England Sports Center is less than a half mile away and Marlborough's new Apex center which offers many forms of entertainment and leisure activities is also close by. Grocery shopping (Target), a Mall and several restaurants are all within 1.5 miles of the apartment. The location is not close to public transportation. A car is highly recommended. Parking for up to 2 vehicles is available on the premises. We require all AirBnb verifications. This sometimes delays reservations, if you have not yet completed the full guest process. Our dog, Barkely, is very aptly named and will likely be the first household member to greet you. He is actually very friendly, will not jump up at you and will settle very quickly once he feels he has completed his protection detail.
