Friendly apartment in the heart of the city, fully equipped: TV, wi-fi, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, gas stove, so you can feel yourself as in your own home. Two minute walk from the The Memorial of the Victims of Communism and of the Resistance and also very close to bars, restaurants and market place. If you travel by car, there are lots of places to visit near Sighetu Marmatiei and we are more than happy to give you directions, tips or information! Our apartment is perfect for anyone who wants to visit Maramures County as from Sighetu Marmatiei you can visit all the nearby attractions: Maramures Village Museum, Maramures Ethnographic Museum, Merry Cemetery (Cimitirul Vesel) in Sapanta, Wooden Churches of Maramures (Barsana, Budesti, Desesti etc.) For winter sports lovers, Cavnic Ski Resort is 43 km (1 hour drive) from Sighetu Marmatiei :) You have access to the entire place!Please also note that the apartment is located on the fourth floor. Considering the current climate, we won't be able to meet and greet, however there is a safety box where you can find the key and enter the apartment. Any information can be given over the phone if needed. We are more than happy to help you with anything you need and we will also do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In our family you can find English, Spanish and Hungarian speakers so depending on what language you speak, we will direct you to the right person! This way you can find all the extra details you need about our place, city or nearby attractions. In order to be able to visit as many attractions as possible, we would recommend you to come by car or rent one. We are unable to meet with you to give you the keys and present you the apartment, due to the current climate, however there is a safety box only outside the apartment where you will find the keys to enter the apartment. Please consider if this will work for you before booking the place. You will find leaflets, maps and further details that will help you get around the city and/or county easy!
