Homely cottage close to sea, and scenic walks

With easy access to beautiful coastal walks and fantastic beaches, Dairy Cottage is a traditional detached Cornish granite cottage, surrounded by open countryside and within walking distance of local pub, Porthcurno beach and the Minack Theatre. This fully central heated property comprises of large open plan Kitchen/diner, large sitting room with logburner and sofabed, conservatory, a family bathroom, three double bedrooms one with en-suite, rear enclosed garden with patio and ample parking. Two of the three bedrooms have king size beds the third having two 3ft single divans. A cot and stair-gate can be provided if required. The kitchen is fully equiped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, pots, pans, crockery and utensils. A washing machine is housed in the utility room. The enclosed garden benefits from a patio area with ample seating and built in barbecue Porthcurno is located 3/4 a mile away from the house and is the home of The Minack Theatre, Cornwall's world famous open air theatre. As well as its performances, the theatre and cafe are open to visitors daily. Porthcurno has a beautiful golden sandy beach with crystal clear waters and a Telegraph museum and cafe that are open daily. There are also tennis courts available and may be booked at the Cable Station Inn. Other local beaches are Porthchapel,Porthgwarra and Sennen Cove. Porthchaple can be reached via a scenic walk from the house through the fields or by car with parking in the church car park. But please note there is a steep rocky climb down to the beach. Porthgwarra is a small picturesque secluded beach 2 miles from the house and was used in the filming of the television series Poldark. Sennen Cove houses the RNLI lifeboat which is open to viewing. There is also a surf school, Coast steering centre, gift shops, pub and restaurant. There is a bus stop just outside the house that goes to Lands End, here you can change and get a bus to St Ives. In the other direction the bus goes to Penzance Dogs welcome, maximum of two.
