Our Isle Adilla is situated next to The Old Excise House at Laphroaig, on the south coast of Islay with fantastic sea views. The three distilleries coastal path is a few steps away and runs between the village of Port Ellen and Ardbeg. Isle Adilla Cabin is made in Scotland and combines unique outdoors, small space living with a high spec finish. The cabin is ideal for couples, single & business travellers. Isle Adilla is self catering small space living with high tech spec. The Eco cabin is made by Armadilla in Scotland. There is underfloor heating, colour changing Led lights, heated towel rail, iPod docking station with built in speakers. The wet room with toilet and shower is small but a powerful and modern shower. Kitchenette area has sink, kettle, fridge, small microwave, Nespresso coffee maker and toaster. Outside there is a table and chairs. It is self catering but we provide tea, coffee, biscuits. There is a Co-operative supermarket in Port Ellen and Bowmore. Cabin does not have room to store large hard suitcases. Due to Covid-19 provisions in the cabin will be limited and only single use ones. Bottle of hand sanitiser will be available. The Isle Adilla has a gated outside space with table and chairs. The Isle Adilla is a self catering cabin that is for sole use of the guests. The owners live in the house next to the Isle Adilla. Guests will be met on arrival and available if any problems or information required. In light of COVID-19 if guests would prefer non contact check in and communication during stay please request. The area of Laphroaig has stunning sea views and Isle Adilla is a ten minute walk from the distillery. There are beaches and countryside/coastal walks. Views are over Port Ellen, The Oa and antrim coastline. It is a 20 minute walk to the village of Port Ellen where there are options for evening meals, a post office, supermarket, newsagent, Pub, ferry port and Petrol Station. Buses run on a limited basis, none on Sunday or evenings. Car hire or taxis are available on the island. It is easy to walk to Port Ellen or the distilleries on the south coast. Buses are limited but Bowmore and further afield can be reached by bus. To discover the whole island car hire or taxi is necessary. It is essential to book car ferry crossing, taxi collection or hire cars in advance. The cabin is small space living and not suited to large hard case suitcases. Distillery tours can get heavily booked in advance, so it is advisable to book before you arrive. Due to COVID-19 visitor attractions may be closed please do check before deciding on travel.
