The property is located in a small, 750 year old village, near the town of Borken (Hessen). We are located in the heart of Hessen, close to the center of Germany. There are no shopping facilities in the village. In Borken and Frielendorf (both 6 km away), you will find possibilities to shop. Our village is surrounded by woods and invites you to go hiking. You have your own little kingdom and reach it via a separate entrance. The hosts live in the same house, but use their own entrance. The premises are separated. However, if there are questions, you can reach us very quickly. Our village is over 750 years old. On the 1st of May there's a folk festival, where people celebrate and hiking. Around our village you can relax while walking and enjoy the beautiful nature. But there are also many beautiful places in our area, which are definitely worth a visit. There are the cathedral city of Fritzlar, the health resorts Bad Wildungen and Bad Zwesten, the Edersee or Silbersee lake and the Hessian lignite mining museum in Borken, to name a few of the sights of our beautiful region. The nearest major city in the vicinity is Borken (Hessen). There are many grocery stores, restaurants and a train station. The Highway A49 also reaches the Highways A7 and A44. You can also reach the Highway A5 direction Frankfurt.
