Cozy, rustic wood/log cabin in the heart of NYS Forest Preserve. Sleep up to 6 (2 bedrooms with a sofa bed), full eat in kitchen, living area with streaming Roku TV, Wifi, full bathroom, a wood deck with BBQ grill and a private outdoor firepit. Pets are always welcome! Ski, hike, fish, hunt, bike - if it's an outdoor activity, do it here! There are 7 cabins on the property and this cabin is located approx. over 500' away from other cabins, with amazing views of Catskill Mountains. At Cold Spring Lodge in the heart of the Catskill Mountains (Big Indian, NY) and 5 minutes away from Belleayre Ski Resort and Belleayre Beach, we have rustic cabins of 2 and 3 bedrooms each. The comfortable cabins have wood burning fireplaces, eat-in-kitchens with full stove, microwave and full refrigerator, Cable TV, DVD players. Free WiFi is available on the property. We have 40 acres of land for outdoor games of all sorts and a wonderful swimming pool, open in summer only from sometime in June thru Labor Day. The Esopus Creek runs through our property which borders state hiking trails such as Giant Ledge, Slide Mountain, Panther Mtn. , Lost Clove and much more. Our Lodge provides visitors with the beautiful surroundings, “big sky” stars at night, and easy access to recreational and hunting activities. We host family reunions, Weddings and corporate retreats here each year. We look forward to seeing you at the Lodge! - Ski and Stay packages available for discounted lift tickets at Belleayre Mountain in winter. - Pool Access available in Summer, from sometime in June thru Labor Day. The pool is shared with 6 other cabins on the property. - Spacious back lawn bordered by Catskill Mountains with access to Esopus Creek. - Several hiking trails, fishing locations and water tubing activities. Very little. We leave the guests on their own but remain readily available to them if they have questions or needs. We are a little over 100 miles from NYC (2 1/2 hours, traffic permitting) set in a lovely mountain valley on a well-maintained county road, within The Catskill Forest Preserve. There are no outdoor activities you can't do! Guests can arrive and depart by public transportation, because we pick them up. Once here, they can hike, fish, swim, hunt and do other things on property, but would need a car to leave the property and explore the communities around us. We are family and pet friendly.
