Note that living room includes a sofa which can be slept on but is NOT a sleeper sofa. Spotless and lovingly maintained. (Please see important note below!) This light and bright 2 bedroom apartment is in the daylight basement of our home and has its own separate entrance. Follow the walkway around the left side of the house and enter the apartment through the screened porch. Code for keyless entry will be sent to you on arrival day. May be flexible with check-in and check-out times, depending on availability. The apartment includes a spacious living room, fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, full-sized washer and dryer, and a game room with ping pong table. If you like to read, you're in luck. The apartment is stocked with hundreds of books! Any questions about the area, or issues with the apartment, let us know and we will be available to help asap. We will respect your privacy but make ourselves available to help however we can. This is a quiet and safe family neighborhood, located about 4 miles north of UNC and downtown Chapel Hill. We are also just a minute off I-40, making most parts of the triangle and surrounding areas easily accessible. On street parking for two vehicles is available in front of our house, and we are located 1/2 mile from the FREE Chapel Hill transit bus stop. Downtown, UNC campus, Kenan Stadium, and the Dean E. Smith Center are all within about a 10 minute drive, or easy access via the bus. Important! We live above with our kids and dogs, and while we will not be having loud parties, please expect to hear us above. If footsteps and family noise will be bothersome to you, this may not be the right rental choice for you. In addition, our dogs hang out in our fenced in back yard. The apartment is fully accessible without entering the backyard, but you will likely see (and maybe hear) the dogs in the yard from the apartment. Please consider if any of this will be an issue for you, and choose your lodging accordingly.
