Situated on 5.5 hectares, this working farm has blueberry fields, a vineyard, orange grove and a variety of fruit trees. Small and large swimming pools, flower gardens and picnic tables makes this a location that is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The traditional farmhouse, dating from 1690, contains a library, sitting area, 3 en-suite bedrooms, a single room, a double room, and a room with two single beds and can comfortably sleep 10-12. A full rustic country kitchen with dining for 14 are all on the main floor. The newly finished attic apartment has an additional fully equipped kitchen and dining room, along with a new bathroom and two bedrooms, making it ideal for a multi family holiday. Outside, take advantage of the patio and outdoor barbecue area, which allows for relaxed and enjoyable meals in the Portuguese sunshine. Take advantage of fresh vegetables and fruit growing on the farm and drink fresh spring water - the perfect escape from the city! There is no television in the house, but the library provides plenty of poolside reading materials and free wifi is available throughout the house and yard. Special requests such as child-minding, a stocked bar, and full breakfasts can be arranged on request ahead of time. The farm is located a few minutes outside of the village of Amares, 20 minutes from historical Braga, and half an hour drive from the spectacular Geres National Park; there is plenty to see and do within a short distance.
