The Barn Loft - the perfect rural escape

The loft is located within spacious grounds in a rural part of north east Suffolk but within easy driving distance of a thriving village two miles away, the bustling, historic town of Bury St Edmunds nine miles away and all that the county has to offer. The loft has been decorated and equipped to a high standard offering every comfort to give guests a special experience. It is completely private with its own access and parking. A very private space with ample parking and outside space. The Barn Loft forms part of the Barn (also available on Airbnb) but please note the Barn will not be let to anyone else if you wish to stay in the Barn Loft unless - of course - a group or family wish to take both units at the same time. The tennis court is available (90% of the time) with prior arrangement with the host Use of tennis court by prior arrangement. We live in a property beyond the tennis court so are available for any questions. We are on the edge of a rural hamlet in the Suffolk countryside. There are wonderful walks here and in the nearby Thetford Forest. Ixworth is just under two miles away and there are two pubs, a restaurant, village shop and butcher. Bardwell is also just under two miles away with a fabulous bakery and two pubs. We are five minutes from Wyken Vineyard with its fabulous restaurant, brasserie, wine tasting and Saturday market. The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is a ten minute drive with an excellent selection of shops and restaurants. We are approximately an hour from the coast - both the Suffolk and Norfolk coasts are beautiful and well worth a visit. It is also worth exploring the beautiful and historic Suffolk villages - Lavenham, Kersey, Long Melford to name but a few. Banham Zoo is charming and 25 minutes away. A car is essential. There is ample parking. A car is necessary because there is very limited public transport.
