Book for 2021 This cabin getaway is located only about 10 miles from Interstate 75. Leave your worries behind and soothe your mind, body, and soul. Let us make relaxation your priority. This cabin is nestled in a tranquil cove on the lakefront of the beautiful 900 acre Wood Creek Lake in London, Kentucky. Wood Creek Lake is home of the Kentucky state record large mouth bass at 13 lbs, 10 oz. If fishing is your thing, then it doesn't get much better than this lake. There are two main forks, Wood Creek & Gillis Branch; however, the lake is too narrow for some water activities as it is a 'no-wake' lake (in other words, no high speed watercraft including wave runners/jet-skis. Water skiing is prohibited. Swimming is not encouraged, but it is allowed around cabin docks. All children under 18 should wear life jackets while in the water. The water is very deep on this end of the lake with potential hazards due to falling trees, etc. While our guest, you may want to take in some sights such as Cumberland Falls National Park, the Birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Sheltowee Trace Hiking Trail (within 5 miles by auto from cabin), Historic Berea, Kentucky, and Camp Wildcat Civil War Battlefield. Cabin features 3 bedrooms(All Queen), 2 on first floor with full bathroom, 1 on second floor with full bathroom, remote controlled electric fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, gas grill, fire-pit, hot tub for 5, and private dock. PLEASE NOTE: There are 4 exterior cameras on the property. One camera looks at the front door. The 2nd camera looks at the stairway to the lake. The 3rd camera looks at the parking lot.
