Log cabin Lykke Hus: All in all, our guests have our little cottage Lykke Hus, Danish for "lucky house". On the cozy and cuddly 25 sqm with a view of the expanse of the Elbmarsch and the spacious garden, our guests will find everything they need for a longer stay for up to three people. It is about 25 square meters and for max. 3 persons bookable. Non-smoking roomsStart your day with a hearty breakfast, either in our breakfast room just a few steps from Lykke Hus, or on your own private terrace in the large beach chair. That's luck! Strengthened then the small or big adventures wait for you, who have to offer our pretty town Glückstadt and our area. For a long bike ride you do not have to take your own bikes with you, but touring bikes are available for you. Or you are in the mood for a kayak trip - we will gladly make the boats for you. By no means should you miss a trip to our really small but fine harbor. And with one of the famous Glückstädter Matjesbrötchen in hand, the "big ship watching" is twice as much fun. After all, anyone who wants out or into the Port of Hamburg must pass us by. Speaking of Hamburg, in the bustling metropolis you're in a good hour - perfect for a day out to shop, gaze and recharge your batteries. Of course, an eventful day needs a relaxing finish. For that we like to heat you up in our Finnish sauna or infrared cabin. In the relaxation room with a large panoramic window, the day can be reviewed. Smoking is allowed with us, but only on the terrace, all our guests to love. And so that all our guests feel well again and again, the beloved four-legged friends are unfortunately not allowed to join us. We are happy to give tips and advise you on the possible leisure activities.   Our well-kept house is located in a quiet residential area on the southern outskirts of Glückstadt. In Schwanenstraße 5 stands our "Haus Weitblick". There are now 2 buildings and a large garden. A house with 2 apartments each with its own terrace. Furthermore, we have since 2012 a chic log cabin with terrace. Of course, the accommodations are constantly being cleaned up, so that our guests can feel at ease again and again. The unobstructed view over the fields makes you forget everyday life. Small summary of the equipment: garden, terrace, child-friendly, fully equipped, DVD, radio, games and sports equipment, supermarket and bakery nearby. Shopping, drinks, bread service possible. Incl. Laundry and final cleaning, spa in the neighboring house. Longer rental possible.   The sights of our beautiful little town with the historic city center and the beautiful harbor are within easy reach. A supermarket can be found about 800 meters from our house. We also offer breakfast in our beautiful breakfast room (Euro 7, - per person). Free Wi-Fi is available. If you want allergy-friendly bed linen, please contact us. It is possible to use the washing machine and dryer (for a fee). We rent bikes for a small fee. There are fast standard touring bikes as well as current e-bikes. The latter make the route planning of the many beautiful and well-signposted bike tours in the area much easier: you do not have to worry about the wind direction !!!   For a tour z. B. on the black water or Rhin we have kayaks for hire.   Wellness area: In our wellness area with sauna, infrared cabin, plunge pool and div. Showers can relax in the relaxation room or on the wooden terrace. The wellness offers are extra services, which are billed separately. Arrivals are possible from 14:00 to 20:00 and departures from 08:00 to 10:00.
