Note: If the Treehouse Hideaway Villa I is not available for the dates you are looking for, also try our Treehouse Hideaway Villa II on Airbnb. Treehouse II is our 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa with amazing views. This fully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bath, small villa is your home away from home. It recently has been fully updated from top to bottom and features beautiful woodwork and artwork from the owners/artists and some of the island's finest craftspeople. It also features a newly expanded pool deck and refreshing, natural salt pool, for your chemical free enjoyment. Our villa provides the perfect adventure-packed location for enjoying one of the most popular areas in St. Lucia--the Soufriere region and the nearby Choiseul quarter. The unique and open architecture of the treehouse allows you to live in the tree line and enjoy nature to its fullest. Spend hours on the open covered deck, enjoying the sweeping views, watching or feeding the birds, and dining on the freshest local food, some right from the garden or direct from the neighborhood. The entire villa has been renovated and now features a wonderful chef's kitchen with views of the pitons (the only one we know of in the area), a river-themed tiki bar for hanging out and enjoying the views and great vibes, beautiful hand crafted wood lighting throughout, new bedroom with handmade arts and crafts king bed, a new bathroom complete with vessel sink and rain shower, and a salt plunge pool with ample room and lots of privacy for enjoying the Caribbean sun. The villa has been rebuilt in a timeless "treehouse arts and crafts" style with lots of art for our guests to enjoy. The romantic bedroom features a beautiful mahogany king size bed, new high efficiency air conditioner (if you need it), and lots of closet space to store your clothes, suitcases, and belongings. You can also watch your favorite movies and shows in bed using the smart tv--if you want a break from nature and just chill! In the living area you'll find a queen-size futon couch (that can also be used by an extra guest for sleeping) and a music system, full wifi that works nicely throughout the property, and a safe where you can easily store your valuables. The new kitchen now features high ceiling, lots of ventilation for working, a nice bar, and much more counter space for cooking up local, tasty treats. It is all set up with the tools, utensils, and appliances that you'll need including a fridge, full gas stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, and more. For guests that would like to try our excellent local cuisine, our hospitality manager and chef, Charmaine, can provide a multi-course welcome meal for a small fee that will satisfy your hunger after a long journey to the island. You can also arrange for meals for other times during your stay. The new bathroom features a unique design with cast-glass vessel sink, a full rain shower, good storage areas and comes stocked with the supplies you'll need for your stay including a hair dryer, soaps and shampoos, and lotions to help you pamper your skin after hours of being in the sun. This is the perfect small villa to enjoy a special occasion such as a honeymoon (we host lots of honeymoon guests!) anniversary, birthday, or other special event, including a small wedding. If you have a larger group, you can rent the sister property next door, the Treehouse Hideaway Villa II, which sleeps 4 to 5. The two villas are separated by lush tropical gardens, ensuring that you'll have all the privacy that you want for your tropical getaway. So leave your cares behind and come stay in the romantic, nature-inspired treehouse in one of the best locations in St. Lucia and enjoy the views your friends back home will wish they could experience too! Notes: Treehouse I vs. Treehouse II We operate two treehouse villas in the area: Treehouse I and II. The Treehouse I villa is a little smaller than Treehouse II. It's designed for a single traveler, a couple, or a couple and a guest. Its open air environment is very cozy and is perfect for nature lovers. The Treehouse II villa is a little larger with a top and bottom floor. This villa is perfect for a couple or two couples, sharing a special time together. The kitchen in Treehouse II is a bit larger and features more working space and appliances. Each Treehouse comes with its own private plunge pool and the villas are separated by very lush gardens ensuring that there is maximum privacy between the villas. Both villas can be rented together to support a group of 6+, for a special stay with good friends and family. Let us know about your needs and we'll try to accommodate them. You can find our two listings for both treehouses at Airbnb. The Treehouse Hideaway I villa is a standalone home with private garden and personal plunge pool, all designed for guests of the villa. Nothing in this space is shared. The villa grounds also provide a barbecue and seating are where you can grill everything from local caught fish to other local delights. The villa provides a main entrance and is very secure. We're located in a nice safe area that is popular with other villa owners and villa guests. We also provide a safe where you can lock up your valuables while on vacation. The villa comes with a complete staff that is available to make sure that you can have the best possible experience in the area. Our hospitalitymanager, Charmaine, is known all throughout the area as the "queen" of hospitality and staying at the Treehouse allows you to enjoy local meals that are expertly prepared by her team. Charmaine can also help you plan your trip and help you with booking any of the popular activities, such as hiking the Gros Piton, climbing the Petite Piton (for real adventure seekers), hiking the famous Tet Paul Trail, snorkeling and diving adventures in the very nearby reef, soaking in the mud baths and hot springs in Soufriere, exploring the local area waterfalls, hiking and exploring in the Edmund Rainforest (highly recommended), enjoying the lush botanical gardens at Diamond, sunset sailing around the Pitons, visiting unique local area artists (we can arrange this for you), dinning at the top local area restaurants, checking out the top resorts in the area, hanging out at the pristine local beaches, ziplining adventures, and much more. Our staff can help you plan any activities and even provide guide and/or transportation services if you desire. Just ask the staff if you are in need of anything or you are looking for tips to help you enjoy the area. We can also help you with vehicle rentals and any other trip planning needs that you might have. Our goal is to always be the most service oriented villa in the area. And of course if you are planning a special romantic stay, our staff will ensure that you have all of the privacy you desire. My wife and I have been coming to St Lucia for over a decade. We have stayed in locations all over the island but this is always the area we come back to over and over again. It's our home. The scenery, the reef, the people, the adventures, bring us back again and again. That's why we purchased the Treehouse villas when they became available to us. This villa is located in a neighborhood of multi million dollar villas all featuring amazing views of the Pitons and the inviting Caribbean ocean. The best feature of the area is that you can walk right to the beach. Anse Chasatanet and Anse Mamin are a fairly short walk downhill a little over a half mile away. From the villa, you can also walk to Soufriere town, which is about a mile away, although the terrain is steep for walking. Here you can enjoy the popular local Humming Bird Beach and the new Soufriere Beach Park with all of its amenities--restaurants, bar, day spa, gift shops, smoothie bar, restaurants and showers, beach furniture for rent, etc. This beach is also a good one for snorkeling and local diving adventures. But keep in mind that the terrain is hilly and the walking (if you are not used to it) can be a little strenuous. There is some hiking you can do in the neighborhood, and the area is fairy quiet and peaceful. We always feel really safe staying here. It's a good area to meet other travelers and the staff who work in the villas nearby are always around to help or provide valuable local resources if you are in need of everything. After purchasing this villa, we fully renovated it using local materials, recycled materials, lots of art, and the skills of some of the best craftspeople we know. We're really proud of the "new" Treehouse and would love to welcome all of our previous guests and new guests to experience the wonderful space. Guests often ask us if they should rent a vehicle or use other transportation, like taxis and private drivers? Not an easy question to answer because each of our guests we host has different needs. But here are a few tips: If you like to drive and don't mind driving in a hilly terrain (with not the most modern roads) and you like to explore on your own, then you might want to consider renting a vehicle. Keep in mind that the road we are located on that goes to the Anse Chastanet Resort is steep at the onset and is an unpaved road. We can help you rent a vehicle so you can pick it up at the airport or have it delivered to the villa after you arrive. We always recommend that our guests rent a vehicle with higher ground clearance to handle the St. Lucia roads. If you do a bit of traveling around during your stay, it's likely that you might be traveling on unpaved, steep, and curvy roads. If your stay is shorter and you want to be pampered, you might want to use taxis and private drivers for your transport needs. We can provide you with estimated transportation charges to get around in the area. From our villa, you can walk to the beach (Anse Chastanet). You can also walk into town but the terrain is hilly and the walk is a little bit of a workout, especially on a hot day. Drivers are readily available in the area and we have great driver/guides that work with our Treehouse guests. These drivers can really show you around, take care of all of your needs, and even pick you up or take you to the airport. You can hire a taxi or private driver on a trip by trip basis or hire a driver/guide for a half day or full day and go exploring. Seeing the unique area with the help and eyes of an experienced local allows you to really enjoy your time and get off the beaten path. Whatever your needs are, just ask and we can help you plan the perfect stay and help you get the most for your travel budget. We also provide cell phones for our Treehouse guests during your stay so that you can easily contact a driver/guide to arrange for your transportation needs. This makes getting around really easy. Our villas are Covid-certified with St. Lucia. We always try to stock all of the basic things in the villa that our guests might need to get started--such as fresh fruit, some snacks, tea, and local coffee when available, local spices, etc.--some basics to help you with settle in. For any guests having special needs, please contact us and let us know how we can help make your stay with us extra special. Our hospitality manager can provide custom meals, catering services, help with groceries, etc. Please ask us about the services provided. We also now offer a grocery shopping service and a custom meal delivery service (Charmaine's Creole Kitchen) for our guests. You can order groceries or complete lunches and/or dinners. This is a good way to experience the excellent local cuisine.
