Casa Amendoa is a luxury 4 bedrooms villa on Tofo’s main beach. The house is so perfectly located as it is on the beach a stone-throw from the vibrant Tofo market and village but at the same time is tucked away to offer the privacy one can expect. Casa Amendoa is set in a prime spot on Tofo main Beach but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. This luxury self-catering house sleeps 8 in 4 comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom and the living room have air conditioning and the house is serviced daily. Casa Amendoa has been newly refurbished (2014), and has all the modern comforts of a first world homestead, with the added bonus of it’s location – right on Tofo Beach. The beach is accessed down a short flight of stairs, and the market, bars and restaurants of Tofo are a mere 2 minutes walk. The house is ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends looking for an idyllic beach house. Description of the amenities (A/C in every rooms): BEDROOMS Bedroom #1 with queen bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in dressing room. Bedroom #2 with double bed and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom #3 with twin beds or double bed option and shared bathroom. Bedroom #4 with twin beds or double bed option and shared bathroom. Each bedroom includes a large mosquito net. It's possible to fit a baby cot inside the mosquito net of bedroom#1 and #2. (Baby cot provided) Linen, bath towels and toilet paper provided. BATHROOM 1 en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi and shower. 1 en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower. 1 shared bathroom with bathtub and shower. 1 toilet + sink. KITCHEN Fully furnished kitchen with central plot. You will find all the necessary equipment: a stove, fridge and freezer, ceramic filter for drinkable water... Store room for food. DINING ROOM Dining table for 8 LIVING ROOM Large living room with 2 sofas PRIVATE GARDEN Deck and garden with table and benches Outside shower BBQ area LAUNDRY ROOM Laundry machine : You are welcome to get laundry service done. Ask the staff they will do it for you. (Buy your own washing powder - a tip will always be appreciated). STAFF The house has three staff members : -The house-keeper and his assistant will prepare the house for your arrival. They are also responsible for the daily housekeeping of the house, and other smaller tasks as may be required by you from time to time. They are available with the following working hours: Monday to Sunday : 8am to 6pm. -The night watcher guarantees your security and is available with the following working hours : Monday to Saturday : 6pm to 8am. Sunday : off In addition, make sure you store your valuables in the 4 safes provided. Guests can access and enjoy the house without any restrictions. Make yourself at home ! At your arrival I won’t be there personally but our agents in the ground Lorien and Philipp will welcome you, take you to the house, introduce you to the staff and give you the house’s key…. They are both fluent in English. In the house you'll find a logbook with all the necessary information to help you to get the most out of your stay in Tofo. If you want to book an ocean safari for example and whatever the nature of the information you need, do not hesitate to contact Lorien or Philipp. The villa is in front of the best part of Tofo main beach for swimming as well as longboarding or SUP'ing. ACTIVITIES: scuba diving, ocean safari (to get close to the many whales, whale sharks, dolphins and turtles, cruising in front of the bay), surfing, SUP'ing, kite surfing, snorkeling, fishing, horse riding and more. We can help you with organizing activities if you need. The town of Inhambane is 25km away and is a world heritage site. It's a lovely portuguese town with a great estuary bay. A bus service is available everyday between Tofo and Inhambane. You DON'T need 4 wheel drive car to reach the house. You can reach the house by 2x4 car and park right next to the house. You can also fly to Inhambane and then take a taxi to Tofo (we can arrange that for you). Once in Tofo you don't need a car as everything is within walking distance. If you want to spend some time in Inhambane take a local chapa (minibus taxi) from Tofo's market to Inahmbane's central market. ACCESS TO THE HOUSE BY CAR From the Komatipoort (Ressano Garcia) border gate it is around a 80km to Maputo ring road. Once on the ring road follow the “Xai Xai” direction boards... Continue straight on the “EN1”. Continue through Xai Xai. From Xai-Xai drive another approximately 224km and find at a small settlement named “Lindela” a definite split in the road with no indicators – take the right handside leading to Inhambane. (The left goes to Maxixe). Once you are in Inhambane follow the directions to Tofo. At Bar Barbalaza slow down and turn right continue driving for another 10km to Tofo. Once you arrive to Tofo, drive off the tar road onto sand and take the first right in order to reach the beach. You should leave Hotel Tofo Mar on your left and follow the main road which take you around the market. As you leave the beach immediately look for a narrow and steep street, exactly opposite the fruits stands, which take you up to a 'cul de sac’ where there is a parking area with a green shade clothe. You can park here. Casa Amendoa is accessible from behind the shade clothe, follow the stairs down and then up. Welcome to Casa Amendoa!
