GENEROUS DISCOUNTS FOR 7 NIGHT STAYS. The S’nook is a characterful, detached one-bedroom barn conversion hidden away in the heart of the charming town of St Just. Set behind a five-bar gate with a lovely private patio garden it’s the perfect retreat from where to explore this glorious area and coastline. The modern reverse level accommodation is spacious with a bright open plan living room on the first floor. Its vaulted ceilings and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden make it a lovely space to relax in. The bedroom has a huge super king size bed and is sure to give a restful sleep after days out exploring. We are dog friendly too and with a fully enclosed garden there’s no need to worry if yours is an escape artist. Although after days out walking the South West coast path or enjoying the beaches and villages dotted around, we are sure they will be too tired to try! LOCATION The attractive town of St Just is a UNESCO world heritage site and framed by some of the most dramatic coastline in Cornwall. It’s a quirky and friendly town that feels lost in time with a host of great local shops, a deli, butcher, four pubs and a small local supermarket for your everyday needs. There are a couple of cafes too and the Dog and Rabbit behind the post office does great breakfasts and lunches with log fires and comfy sofas. Surrounding the town are the most spectacular walks which you can reach within a ten-minute(ish) stroll from the doorstep. We are spoilt for beaches too. Sennen with its glorious surfing beach is ten minutes away as is Portheras, a hidden and stunning local’s cove. Travelling further east within twenty minutes you can be in Marazion with its fabulous beach overlooking the famous St Michaels Mount or St Ives, Mousehole and Penzance. LIVING The first-floor living room is flooded with light and open plan to the kitchen. There is a two-seater sofa and an extra little snug sitting area under the TV, perfect for curling up and reading a book. Doors open up to a Juliet balcony which overlooks the gardens. There is a small flat screen TV and dining table with four chairs. COOKING & EATING It’s a spacious kitchen area and a social space open plan to the sitting room and dining area. There’s plenty of cupboard space as well as a fridge, microwave, electric oven and hob and washing machine. SLEEPING The bedroom is on the ground floor and overlooks the patio. There are fitted wardrobes and a super king size bed which can split to provide two full sized single beds. You decide. BATHING Next to the bedroom on the ground floor is a modern shower room with an electric shower, WC and basin. OUTSIDE The cottage is accessed via a five-bar gate which leads through to a pretty private patio area. The perfect spot for al fresco meals. USEFUL TO KNOW... PARKING: There is free on street parking along Cape Cornwall Street where available and you can pull up outside to unload if needed. The free St Just Town car park is only a minute away. Wi-Fi. There is free Wi-Fi at the S’nook although this far west it's occasionally slow but perfect for surfing the web or checking social media and emails. HEATING: There are independent wall mounted electric radiators throughout which keep the S’nook toasty. The shower is electric providing constant hot water. PETS: Far West Cornwall is doggie heaven! There’s plenty of beaches and coast paths for exploring. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at £35 each per week/short break. Please make sure they stay out of bedrooms and off the furniture and that you rub down muddy/sandy feet before they come in. LINEN & TOWELS: You'll have bedding & towels but please bring your own beach towels. ACCESSIBILITY: The S’nook is accessed through a part gravelled garden with several small steps down. It has a ground floor bedroom and bathroom with internal stairs leading up to the living space. If in doubt or if you have any questions do get in touch before booking. This property is not wheelchair friendly and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. If this applies, please contact our booking office to discuss the properties potential suitability prior to confirming. CHANGEOVER & SHORT BREAKS: Short breaks are available throughout the year, for a minimum of 3 nights with flexible changeover days. Do check with us if your dates don't quite fit as we will always try to help. The cottage is entirely private and yours to enjoy on holiday I live in St Just so am around if you need anything or tips on where to go and what to do locally. Car is best but buses go from the free car park and the open top one is well worth taking in the summer for the great views.
